Dr Cole told me that the reason I have periodontal disease is because of my dirty habits. WHAT??? I brush my teeth at least 5 times a day and use mouth wash several times a day. It's a genetic problem. How dare he speak to me that way. I then tried to sell me a temporary tooth for $350. I called them on January 13th to see if my approval came through yet. I was told that some lady comes to pick up the approval request every few weeks and that she just picked it up a week ago. I called the insurance company and they told me that they never heard of such a thing. I know this whole this whole issue is a money thing...I had private health insurance all my life. I paid full price for dental services all my life UNTIL I lost my business a few years ago.... I've had NY State Health Insurance this past year. I am aware that medical and dental fees are paid at a reduced rate. Hey Dr Cole if you do not want to take care of us less fortunate then take yourself off the state insurance list. Why should I lose my teeth because you are unethical!!
