My check engine light was on, so took it in to so called honest dealer, a friend of mine sells cars there. Turned out to supposedly be catalytic converter, $1600. car only had 43,000 miles on it. Anyway told me the Nissan catalytic converters are so expensive because have platinum in them. Later found out all have plat in them. And asked if they are so good why did it go bad at 43,000 miles. Then the final insult was on the bill they tried to charge me for core charge, and not remove it when they took the old core out which they sell to be reused. When I pointed this out, they feigned shock, they had never made this mistake before. They are crooks. Also had sent a friend of mine there to purchase car and I was supposed to get 200 for the referral, and I never got it. NEVER give them a penny. Please there are other people out there to deal with.
