Diamond Resorts International Complaints Unfair business practices, unethical Diamond Resorts International is a GREEDY, CORRUPT and MORALLY BANKRUPT company (IMO). They seem to have enough political clout to keep them from being prosecuted for their fraudulent and unethical behavior. While I can only speak my opinion regarding the GREED and CORRUPTION that has been perpetrated by Diamond Resorts International on a GLOBAL SCALE. I do have personal knowledge of a multitude of other Vacation Owners that have been missold, misrepresented, defrauded, scammed and otherwise decieved by what amounts to be probably the largest GLOBAL VACATION SCAM since Sunterra which was purchased by the corrupt Diamond Resorts International for $700,000,000 back in April of 2007. Since the purchase of Sunterra by Diamond Resorts International the FEES and SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS have more than doubled what we pay for our little piece of paradise. I can book my same resort on EXPEDIA and get a rental car for less than I pay in FEES to Diamond Resorts International. Because I never signed up with them they have stripped all of my vacation ownership privileges and benefits such as shared use of resorts on Kauai and in Lake Tahoe. I now only have use of my DEEDED week at the Maui resort. This is not what I signed up for 12 years ago. Diamond Resorts is a company that ONLY CARES ABOUT your MONEY. Until this company is Stopped I have no other option, but to pay the EXTORTION FEES they request annually or I will lose my DEED even though it currently is not worth the paper is written on. I can not sell my DEED as I am not able to lie and defraud inocent victims like Diamond Resorts International. I refuse to let these CROOKS and CON MEN steel my DEED though foreclosure if I do not pay their EXTORTION FEES. WARNING CONSUMER ALERT: DIAMOND RESORTS FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES If you are ever approached by these con artists to attend one of their high pressure, well orchestrated money extraction presentation I guarantee whatever the gift for attending will not be worth the misery you must endure. RUN AWAY do not look back or you may be turned to a pillar of salt; OK I made that last part up about the pillar of salt, but the warning still stands.
