Dish Network ECI collections failure to provide service and now i'm harrassed by collection agency, Internet

First, we signed up for Dish Network. The local guy they sent to put in the dish screwed giant bolts through my roof--causing leaks. But before I found that out, the installation guy crawled under the house and managed to unhook my cable internet service and hook up the Dish service. I had to call the cable company to fix the internet--which was a service charge and took two hours for the guy to crawl under the house and trace every line under it to figure it out. After three weeks, we finally had tv and internet services returned to normal. Made a call to Dish--no apology, nothing. Flash forward a year (wasn't bad service after that--unless it rained hard and then no signal) and we were moving. Called to set up move to new location. Dish phone support told me I needed to crawl on top of the house and retrieve the dish to take with me, since i wasn't sure if there was a dish already installed at the new place. Seriously? Scheduled what was to be a FREE install at new place. Dish guy calls and says he's on the way. Never showed. Took another day off to work to meet him, he says he needs to screw the dish to the roof. I refuse, because of last experience with leaks, I had a new roof and was not going to let him ruin it. He says he cannot install anywhere on our property to receive a signal--unless it's one spot on the roof. Told him to forget it. Called Dish. They say I owe over $118 and why didn't i have them install the dish. Explained all over again the circumstance. Got a bill and called again. Was told again I had to pay all of these charges. Talked to someone else, told me not to worry about it. It's been a year since that incident and now suddenly I'm getting automated calls on my cell phone from a collection agency. They call me about 8 times a day, everytime leaving a partial message about Dish. Then about a month ago I get a letter in the mail from the collection agency telling me I owe $186--but can settle for $65.00. I'm prepared to just pay it to make it go away. I log on to the collection company website and try to pay online. The online portal says I owe $186 and will not let me pay $65.00. I just received notice that the collection is now on my credit report. I am completely exhausted with this. I was a good customer and paid my bill and would have been willing to continue the service if they could make it happen. I would NOT recommend Dish Network to ANYONE. Customer service on local and national levels for me has been a total fail.
