Dr. Victor L. Marchione's Inner Circle Membership
Check deposited by Lombardi Publishing without registering for membership

My 86 year old father believes in these "online doctors" and paid $395.00 for a membership in Dr. Marchione's Inner Circle. The check was to be made payable to Lombardi Publishing Corp in Ontario Canada. Dr. Marchione is from New Jersey and is a pulmonary specialist. The "Inner Circle" consists of 5 doctors. My father failed to write on the memo line of the check that the money was for this membership. Lombardi Publishing did not follow up to see what the check was for but instead deposited it. As my father was still receiving emails to join the "Inner Circle" he wondered what had happened to his $395.00. Unfortunately, this was all from June 2010 so now I am his daughter assisting him in trying to get to the bottom of all of this. We sent a letter with the details of the problem as well as a copy of the cancelled check. We have placed phone calls to Lombardi Publishing Corp. and were told we now need to provide a copy of his bank statement as proof. I advised 'Rick' at Lombardi Pub. Co. that the cancelled check is proof enough and that we want a refund or proof of purchase of the membership to the "Inner Circle". We also mailed a copy of the letter & cancelled check to Dr. Victor L. Marchione in NJ. Now I am making phone calls to Dr. Marchione in NJ and the call always goes to voice mail. As of Sept. 1/11 I have made 2 calls without a response. I am ready to make a complaint to the BBB regarding Lombardi and Dr. Marchione. I wonder if Dr. Marchione is aware that Lombardi Publishing Corp. is nothing but a scam...especially of the elderly.

I paid $29.95 for the Doctors Health Press e-Bulletins by Dr. Marchione and fellow doctors. For the most part, I appreciate the e-bulletins and find them informative and helpful.
However, I am repeatedly pestered by HELEN MARTYRE, publisher of LOMBARDI PRESS, who, under the guise of the "Doctors Health Press", sends me unwanted emails regarding economic and political crises or because I've "failed" to respond to (numerous & interminable) videos or some offer. I have emailed her, asking her to stop, or to refund my money and cancel my subscription, of course, I've gotten nowhere.
I don't know if Dr. Marchione knows what's going on with Lombardi Press either, but he should. Otherwise, I have to assume he's part of this annoying scam and I am close to unsubscribing from his e Bulletins (they already got my money, so what do they care?) and blocking any more emails from Lombardi Press.
