It all started on May19th of 2010. I contacted a moving company to load 2 26 foot trucks and I would drive them from St Paul to Wichita where we bought our new home. The company I called put us in contact with Charles Evans of E-Z moves and household services.I told him that I had wanted a crew waiting in Wichita and I needed him and his crew to load the 2 trucks in St. Paul. He immediately suggested that I cancel the agreement with the company and he would load both trucks and drive them with his crew to Wichita and unload them also. Like a dumb ass, I did this. He said he would have 2 other capable men to help load and drive the trucks to Wichita.
When the day to load the trucks arrived, he told me both men had quit and taken all his money.(boo-hoo). Turns out this was a lie. All there was to load was his wife and 2 kids who we ended up babysitting mast of the time as well as helping load the trucks. 2 days to load both trucks. I had advanced $600 via PayPal and promised another $150. for motel and meals as well as $50.00 for gas for his vehicle. Just for his en d alone we are now at $800.00 Not bad for 2 days work.
So now we arrive at Wichita. Both trucks are parked in front of our home ready to unload in the morning. Charles Evans now has all of my money. ($800). He shows up and tells me he called Craigslist and has 2 men (inexperienced) to do the total unload of the trucks. I am to pay them $9.00 per hour in addition to what I already paid Mr. Dipshit. He took the cash and bailed. So now I was out of pocket another $175.00
I was stunned. What balls! I am a senior citizen and a disabled veteran and I have been had a few times but this takes the cake! I contacted the company That he had me cancel the contract and they blacklisted him from doing any more business. I would take him to small claims court but I sincerely believe he is sue-proof. He has nothing. So I contacted AMPLA (a moving organization he belongs to) and they blacklisted him as well. My advice: Stay away from this man. He is a one man con organization and he is dishonest and will take every opportunity to take your money! Beware!!

| This man is also filing complaints against alot of other companies. i have used ez moves with success and contacted 25 of their references who were also very pleased with the service. talk about boo hoo... im a senior citizen. wah wah lol. charles let me know what happened AND had pictures showing that they were hoarders. this old man isnt saying that even after to 26 ft trucks the gentleman needed to get another for the rest of the crap left behind! I dont blame him for walking away 1 bit. Its kinda funny how after 10 years this idiot is trying to ruin his good name. what an old pathetic jackass. do us all a favor and shut up. |

| Jack isn't going to call. So here is the breakdown of the charges. I quoted 12 hours at 50/HR which is our standard 2 man out of town rate. I didn't even charge for a 3rd man. So there is the 600 for 12 hours. Jack covered dinner and motel in St Paul. After 12+ hours loading 2 28 ft trucks(and we had them packed tight) plus loading some into his vehicle we hit the road and drove to witchita. You stopped to fuel your wife's vehicle but not ours. So that was out of my pocket. Once in witchita we spent a long time driving in circles trying to find your mew house lol. Then we asked for the motel money for that night (didn't say anything about our gas expense or food while driving) and you gave attitude. It was then o realized we were going to get burnt on the unload side. The 600 you paid covered the loading. We still aren't at 800 so I think you had better check your records. As far as helping...please! My older boys who were there helped a lot more. True you had to help a couple times to push something up a ramp. You were hoarders plain and simple. You still had to get another truck to finish! Ask any moving company and they will tell you that 12 hours is normal to load 2 28ft trucks. I made the decision to walk away in witchita because I knew you weren't going to pay. I saved you money by getting a couple guys at 9/hour. Check your records and do the math before you start slandering someone. Yes I told you to cancel the other company but there was ALOT you didn't tell me. I made the mistake of trying to help out. I expect this harassment to stop or I will turn all the records from the move over to an attorney. I know they can add numbers. Thanks-Charles |

Charles; Your Wife doesn't HAVE a sister and I am going to go ahead and take a good guess and say there is no Tom either. Also to be clear... I was reinstated with elite moving shortly after this. Your original order with elite said you had 1 26 ft truck. You were to pay $329 for the first 3hrs and a $60 travel fee for us to go to St Paul and back. Your load took 12 hours for 2 28ft(not 26) trucks so there's additional hourly charges. Wow you still paid less versus having elite moving in both places. Lets see $329+$329=$658. Not including the other companies travel fee and the additional hourly charge past 3 hours in both places. Like I said do the math. I knew you would burn us and this is proof of how ignorant you are. I made the right decision to walk away.

And along with your "records" is that where you secretly took pictures of his stuff and showed them to your "wife" as she says? Even though she was There? You are still trying to run a scam and still dishonest. First of all, anyone whom I hire to work in my home or with my private belongings, I sure wouldn't allow them to take pictures of my things and show them around. Second of all, no one should bring along thier children to jobs with them. It seems more like a family vacation that you took with someone else's money to me. And lastly, NO good businessman would even be worried about ONE person's comment about bad service if they that good of a person to work with. What Charles; were you just searching to see if anyone had caught onto your games yet? You need to give it up and move on, NOT move others. |

| Charles, this is how you treat your customers whom are unsatisfied with your work? I don't think you started out with trying to make it right, I'm pretty sure you started out trying to be deceitful and lying as if your wife was someone else and that you two actually get along. And then you proceed to say that you took pictures of his stuff and showed them around. Why would you take pictures of other peoples things? And Then to top that off, you want to throw his name all over the web? Well, I must say, you are one messed up individual, and I hope none of your poor children learn thier behaviors from your actions. You should be ashamed. |
