Ebates has become a total scam. They advertise a store on their website 'knowing the store has a promotion going on and still advertises a 4% cash back'. This has happened with 2 different stores. After contacting them by email (4 times) I never heard anything back from them. Finally I got someone on the phone after 4 different attempts. I spoke with a lady named Charlotte and then escalated my call to a manager who's was Michael. They both said they didn't get their commission because the store had a promotion going on. BS! The stores informed me they did because I contacted them. Ebates plainly says on their website you will get your Ebates cash back on top of the discount the store offers. If that is not true , then they need to remove those stores from their list. I've used Couponcactus.com and never had any of these issues before. Shoppers beware before you trust Ebates.
