Eldorado Resorts Corporation Grandview Las Vegas Trapped, Manipulated and Mislead in a high pressure Sales environment that used profiling to sell us |
2nd of May, 2011 by User415865 |
I have read many of the other reports and I have also talked to a lawyer about breaking my contract with the Grandview. It does not look good unless we file a class action suit against them. Their unethical sales techniques are going to be hard to prove unless we have a large number of victims come forward with similar stories to ours. After trying to deal with RCI and the Grandview I basically got what I paid for a very expensive fixed week at the Grandview each year. My Story I tried to avoid them all week while I was in Vegas, October of 2008, but they finally got us and reeled us in using profiling. We received $200 of casino play and a couple of buffets for 8 hours of our time. My wife is Filipino and convientely all of our Sales staff, except for the closer, were Filipino and they spoke the same dialect. Most of the conversation outside of the sales pitch was all foreign to me but this made my wife comfortable with them so she convinced me. We refused several offers and discounts until we finally agreed to give it a try. After 8 hours it felt like we were never going to get out of there unless we agreed to something. What finally sold me was the idea of trading my week through RCI to go to other places. They promissed us two free extra vacations a year and a cruise to the Bahamas with our new RCI Membership. We agreed to a trianual fixed week ownership in the early spring. Therefore trading my week sounded great until you try to go somewhere else or redeem the extra vacations. Nothing is ever available when you want to go somewhere and the hidden costs / black out dates on the cruise were ridicules. Therefore the perks were not worth the paper they were printed on. I can't even give the timeshare away so I never felt more ripped off. We basically got nothing for our time and money. |

Please if there is a class action suit I want to be apart. I was conned on my Birthday weekend in Vegas. Wasted half a day with these people, offering deal after deal. I knew something was fishy about this. They are now calling for my first payment.
Email me if anything happens: [email protected] |

I would like to be included in any class action suit as well. We experienced the same ordeal. I have stopped paying for it and have asked to speak with their legal dept but was told I could not. Please email me @ [email protected] if any of you can get an attorney to take this as a class action suit. I know of an attorney I will contact tomorrow. I will keep you all posted on any info I receive. These people need to be stopped. |

For any one that hasn't listed an email address where they can be contacted please post it or email it to me @ [email protected] so I can pass it along to the attorney when I contact them on tomorrow. Thanks. |

I am in. My email is [email protected]. It is the same story to everyone being the victim of this scam. I thought I got a good discount, from over $40K to be only a half of that. I was so stupid to fall in this trap. Just like everyone here, I don't think I bite in and then come here to find out this is the truth scam. |

|
Me too... please email me at [email protected] and let me know if we filed that class action suit. This is just a burden on me and my wife and we would like to get out of this scam. |

Us too, please email me at [email protected]. We were misled, too. I am sick and tired of paying, which I am not using. They did not mention about the cancellation until i found out inserted in the contract, and it was due. |

We are interested in joining a class action suit for being scammed at Grandview Las Vegas into signing a contract we had no intention of doing. We were victims of timeshare fraud and stand up for our consumer rights ! Please email [email protected]. |

My experience was awful as well. I hate to make those monthly payments which is like throwing money away. I would give anything to get out of this deal |
