Back in November of 2008, we had had some financial difficulties and looked into getting help with a possible loan modification. During the process, EMC sent us an agreement for a lesser payment per month until a modification could be approved that began in January of 2009. My husband and I honored the agreement and made our payments on time and for the full amount that had been requested since!

If a company gives you a monthly statement with a certain amount on the statement and you pay that amount on time, and even one time send TRIPLE the payment amount requested (see bill history for 03/2010- payments totaling $2250.00 were sent to account #001346899), how are we making a slow payment? Any banker I have talked to shakes their head in disbelief. And the best part of it all is when the modification was all said and done we had a worse rate with longer terms!!!
