The project that was promised to be completed in 4 to 5 year span with continual monthly update doesn't even have basic roads running through it. The monthy updates are nonexistant. What we have heard is the construction has halted do to the dramatic down turn in the ecomomy. The problem is 90 percent of the project is sold out. So where is all the investment money going? We put half down(10,000.)on two lots with a 5% per month payments equaling to 300/month. We have visted Costa Rica twice in the last 8 months and visited these projects and nothing is going on. This is also true of the developers other properties that are listed in his website. This project is about to enter the 4th year. We are out our money and I'm guessing many others are as well and would like to have someone investigate this situation as I have emailed them in CR prior to this and a blog was set up in 2009. Since 2010 nothing has come across , a secretary answers the office phone but never gets back to you, the office in CA is just an address and I'm feeling this is a scam.

We are deeply sorry if you feel frustrated with Paradigma or Eric Neuvert. HOWEVER, what you are saying here in not true! If you would go to the website of the project you are seeking, you will find that there are in fact many video recorded updates from Eric Neuvert, usually given about every 4 to 6 weeks and announced in advance of its coming. This is sent out via email and then placed on the website for the year for all to see if they have missed any updates. We acknowlede that at times it is hard to reach us. We are in Costa Rica in an older area and the phone system is not what we have hoped to this date at our location. We have also informed each of you with a very lengthy 90 minute 2011 Update and overview of the development project. In this overview and two times since, we have explained that we have reduced staff in order to meet the crises and survive it we have This 2011 Update aired four times with many notices of its airing prior to its airing. We are in a Latin third world country and finding the right person who can both write, read, understand, speak english and use a computor is difficult, not to mention very expensive these days. Our efforts have been to place more emphasas on the project advancing in its visable stages while at the same time continuing forward with all of the government demands for studies in this Native Indian Territory, for 2011. Upon visiting the project at this time you will find nearly 6 kilometers of road, (the road is a dirt raod at the present time with approvals awaiting in order to commence the gravel base and other infrastructure installations. The global crises is not something that we could controll and in fact ruined many companies, not only here in Costa Rica, but in the World. These compaies are no longer in existinace and thier clients have lost. We understand that the global crises has also caused hardships on the individuals. This hardship has caused many people to not be able to pay on thier lots, therefore reducing the amount of income we have had to be able to use to pay for both the visual advancments of the project and the many reports and studies that are required for a project of this size that need to be processed by the Attornies, Arquitects and Enineers, among others. Our desire is to be able to begin to turn over the lot titles, to those who have made thier payments to date, while we continue to work on the infrastructure. Yes, we are delayed, but we have survived a major global crises and you will enjoy your lot that you have been paying for, if you are paid up to date. Some of you who have not made payements for many many months have been placed into a default status. If you are not paying on your lot as is agreed, then you lose those rights to cliam said lot or publicly attempt to sabotage our efforts, solely to make up for your lack of responsiblity to keep your payments up to date so that we may perform our end of the obligation. With this said. Lots will begin to be turned over to the purchasers that are paid in full by the end or beginning of this year, give or take a few months for any delays. The project was never nearly sold out as a project, rather the first phase was sold out in the form that all were reserved at one time, but that does not mean that all continued with thier contract or reservation. This year end or new year will bring you an office on site with representatives and staff there to show you around and so that you will be able to physically walk out and see and touch your lot while we finish the other phases. This will give each owner the opportunity to start your home building planes, ectectera. As for the California mail address, even the webiste reads that the address in California is ONLY a mailing address and has never been an office, and for your convenance and speed of contacing us or mailing to us. Costa Rica mail is not relaible or fast by any means, so the most relaible method was to provide a relaible mailiing address for your convenance and speed. We are only a Costa Rica company ruled under Costa Rica law.
This is not a scam, but a real project that has taken its hits from the global crises and other non controllable factors, but still keeps on going. The contracts clearly state that such delays may occure and that this may delay the proecess of delivery and development if they did occur. We will place on the project website a translated letter from the Government Agent that has been handling our permitting and studies processes since 2007 for all to see that this is a very real and powerful project. I am “remotely” researching the authenticity of this “development” for a friend, so I have no personal attachment to the area. I must admit the more I read the more troubled I am by all that I see about this project and it's (lack of) development.
I took the above comments and attempted to verify some of them on the company's web site such as..." the 2011 Updates and videos" Nothing has been posted since November 16, 2010 and there is nothing mentioning 2011. Also re: the statement... "We will place on the project website a translated letter from the Government Agent that has been handling our permitting and studies processes since 2007 for all to see that this is a very real and powerful project", I search every where for the link and the only I found that could have been remotely close was a broken link, most likely never functional.
Several buyers posted their desire to sue the company so I went to look for anything filed in the US. I saw one letter written by an office out of Florida law office where the owner is now under indictment for some kind of financial offense. It's not very impressive when you are using an office where the attorney is disbarred shortly after writing a threatening letter for you!

So yes, I will caution my friend that she is probably going to be the proud owner of an undeveloped bit of dirt in Costa Rica should she continued to pay this company. It is my opinion... If the current economy has gotten too tough for them, they need to be up front and honest with their owners about what they are capable of doing, or not.

Our investment company invested $25, 000 into this project all the way back on 2003. We invested $5000 for a unit which we were told we needed to make an additional payment or lose our initial investment. We understood that we would forfeit that money. The problems stems from the other $20, 000 that we invested into the entire project. We were promised a very large return after 4 years, which is why we invested in the first place, Two years after the initial investment we were told that the contractual return would be significantly less.

Well, here it is 10 years later and we have not seen a dime. At this point I would be content with just getting our initial investment back. They have had our money for 10 YEARS.

I have tried to contact Eric Neuvert on multiple occasions but he will not respond. Although he has no problem tweeting that he is on a golf course somewhere. His lavish lifestyle just screams PONZI...

If this has happened to anyone else please contact me and we can band together to recoup our money that this guys has bilked us for.
