erie construction We spent $17,000 and they wouldn't spend $125 to fix their mistake! grand rapids, Michigan

We hired Erie Construction to replace ALL of the windows in our house! When it came time to put them in the window that was in our bathroom was not frosted and i told the installer then that it was supposed to be frosted. He said it was not in the contract, but the company would send someone out in a couple weeks to replace the glass it was not a big deal. I tried calling the company for 6 months to come out and replace the window and they finally returned my call 6 months later to tell me that it was going to cost $125 more than the $17,000 we already spent. We told him that it was bad business to loose a costumer over $125 when we had already spent $17,000! The sales man wrote the contract wrong and we signed it and that is what they are basing their argument on and yes it is black and white, but what about their negligence of returning a call from a disgruntled customer and what about the grey area that the company screwed up on!
