Hi , I am a owner of a test only smog station in california. I have a ESP smog machine .
I have a service contrac with esp inc,. Every Quarterly paid $1,140 for service. After Memorial day, 31(Tue) May , My machine failed gas cap calibration and seems like slow working. I call service at 1800-759-4487, I explaind problum of machine, They said service Tec. will be 1pm to 5pm wed. They didn't come . so I called again, They said early in the morning next day(thu). but they dind't come. I call agine, They said maybe 5pm ... Maybe... When I bought esp machine, they said esp is only company that guarantees to have your system running within eight business hours of your call. I still have a service paper that word. now they said 3 working business day. which is 3day and when I last call them, they said that they didn't recieve my service call on last tuesday, recieved wendsday ha ha ha.... what a great servive? ha ha ha...
I have to keep wait untill only esp service Tec come up.
How they can run business like this?
1. Nobody can fix smog machine ?
2. Who gave like this mighty monopoly businees to them.
If Service Tec din't come up what i have to do?

Take it from someone who knows, When calling in for service 1 Get contacts name and service call tracking number, and where your call stands on your techs list of work Unless they are paying OT, techs typically do 4-6 calls per day. Ask if their is any one in the office left that is familiar with your unit, and keep calling. Remember the SQUEAKY wheel gets greased..
