EZ Loan Protection Extra Cash Network Checking Account Fraud - unauthorized charges Washington, Utah

I was charged a $30 fee by EZ Loan Protection. I called my bank and filed a complaint of fraud. I contacted the company at 888-897-8045 and was told the account had been cancelled as of 12/02/2010. Today I received a call from someone at Extra Cash Network, stating that I had a free trial membership. This persongave the same phone number, 888-897-8045. Upon researching, I found that Extra Cash Network and EZ Loan Protection are both at the same address:

1055 W. Red Cliffs, C-525 Washington, UT 84780

Phone: 800-998-0834

These companies are one and the same. ECN supposedly has a free trial membership and then a $38.95 monthly fee. I have a feeling that next I will wake up to find this fee has been deducted from my account as well. I will be filing a police report and calling the attorney general's office of Nevada to report this company.

I was hit by the same place, under a different name.. Payment Protection out of Las Vegas, NV. A $30 fee because I "agreed" to a "membership" with their company while filling out an online loan form when we were in dire straits. I have been researching this all day and have found hundreds of posts regarding this organization and all its little spin-off companies. I filed a complaint with the BBB of Nevada, I have been getting the run around all day by idiots on the phone, leaving messages, being told how "unusual" it is for this type of thing to happen. Had the first woman tell me I must have misunderstood the application... it is a pre-populated box that if you don't unclick will automatically authorize these people to steal from you.

This EZ Protection is just a part of a big whole and if every person that gets done over by these crooked practices doesn't file complaints and report their activities as fraud they will continue to get away with it. Most people don't want to take the time to stand up. Please, anyone who reads this and has been screwed by these companies, report them, file complaints, let other consumers know to keep a careful eye.
