Fanable Media
Fanable Media Seo Town Fanable Media is a Sales Factory of Social Media Scammers San Diego, California
6th of Sep, 2011 by User680688
The current founders Joe Costa, Terry Farruk, and John Caminitti have had no prior experience in the social media and web design field until making the decision to start a company last April. Actually they call it re-branding of Jacob Tyler, an award winning media and design firm in San Diego. Which is true, but Jacob Tyler wants nothing to do with Fanable Media. Joe Costa was an investor in Jacob Tyler Social about a year ago, and that is the extent of his knowledge of social media, web design & development. It seems that Fanable Media’s back end team is made up of wash-outs from Jacob Tyler. The SEO Director was asked to leave Jacob Tyler, and the Interactive Media director had a falling out with the firm. Fanable looks to be scooping up the second team from Jacob Tyler. It looks as if Fanable is trying to build their company based off of all Jacob Tyler’s years of hard work in the industry. As for the sales team, I feel bad for anybody that decides to take a job with Fanable Media. They promise you the world, and in return you get nothing that was promised. I have found their job posting on many job forums stating it is a salaried position with benefits, leads, working relationships with Goggle, Yahoo, Bing, YouTube, etc. None of this is true. They do not have a lead system for the employees. It is all cold calling. They promise a salaried position after 90 days and benefits. Both are false promises. Also, there is no employee in the office that has any certification or working relationship with the companies listed above. If you are considering applying for a job there, ask them to produce the certifications. I also have done further research on their current clients’ fan base growth. They claim this growth to be organic, based on SEO principles, creative blogging, and interaction with fans. Well again another false hood. To gain friends, or engaging LIKES as they say, they are circulating emails and asking all of their current friends, employees, and clients to “LIKE” each others pages. Does this provide any service of value when the cheapest package starts at $795 per month with a $1,000 set up fee, which is a junk fee? From what I have found their packages go up in price exponentially with no real change other than posts on Facebook, Twitter, and a couple more blogs. This is another huge chance to take with your brand and social expansion. As for their custom built fan-pages, they are using a 3rd party generator which costs less than $20 per month, and in some cases is a free application on Facebook. I have found no current clients that have any special fan growth. The one thing that really puzzles me is most companies with satisfied clients have a testimonial page on their website. I have yet to find any of those. Yet again another reason I would be very careful when choosing Fanable Media. I have read some reviews on review sites, but it appears that they are all ghost written by Fanable’s friends and employees. In addition, after receiving too many negative reviews to bury on Yelp, they somehow got their listing removed. Another reason for buyers to be concerned. All press releases have been written and paid for by the Fanable team. There is no need to investigate too deeply into Fanable Media’s web design. The only thing I have found to be true is that Fanable Media is using a Word Press template for their website and the websites of the few clients who have been gullible enough to hire them. Kind of interesting that they claim to be a high end web development firm yet they are using a template anybody can either get for free or at most pay $20. Fanable Media is yet other operation claiming to be something they are not. I advise anybody to steer clear of Fanable Media and their overpriced packages

They tricked me into working for them for free with their lies too. One of the worst companies I've ever worked for. Their clients are all trying to get out of their contracts and are unhappy with the lack of deliverables. Terry Farruk and Joe Costa in cahoots with Les Kollegian and John Caminiti = con artists.
