Federal Bureau
federal bureau of legislation san francisco Claims they are filing a lawsuit in the Supreme Court of California for an unpaid on line loan Anaheim, C
4th of Apr, 2011 by User872393
An Indian guy keeps calling my work and my cell constantly telling me they are from the federal bureau of legislation san francisco and they are filing a lawsuit against me because I never paid back an on line loan and I owe $25,000. They said they were willing to work out a payment arrangement with me if I provided them with my bank card info. Of course I am not stupid and thought this was a scam right from the start. I contacted an attorney and they tried calling this person back but the phone was disconnected. Somehow they keep reconnecting this phone number because it appears they are back in business again.

I continually get calls from a Pakistani accented guy who goes by David Jones, sometimes Nevan Jones and sometimes Brandon Brown. He claims he is from the Federal Bureau of Legislation San Francisco and that he will be filing a subpoena for my arrest if I don't pay an unpaid loan.

They repeat my FULL SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, my FULL BANK ACCOUNT number, my mother MAIDEN NAME, my parents and families addresses, etc. They call my employers, family, friends etc. scaring them by saying they are going to arrest me. They are a SCAM!

I reported them to the Better Business Bureau but since they are not an accredited business, they can't do anything.

I reported my identify theft to the Federal Trade Commission (reference my complaint #31829711 as well) 877-438-4338.

I reported them to the three main credit bureaus

One of the numbers they call from is 760-278-1372. I googled that phone number and found they are located in Blythe, CA. I notifed the Blythe, CA police (Detective Cornwell @ 760-922-6111). They also have called me from 877-273-3560 and 573-340-5662. The phone provider these phone numbers belong to is Magic Jack which is a flash drive you can insert in any laptop and there is no way of tracing where they are. They could be calling you from another country...no way to tell.

I am reporting them to my local police department and the two police departments will work together to try to catch them.

If you are a victim of this fraud, please contact:

1. Notify the Blythe CA Police department (detective Cornwell) at 760-922-6111 AND your local police department

2. Notify all 3 credit bureaus

4. Notify your bank and any other bank or credit card providers

Take action and file complaints with all authorities so we can catch these guys!
