Forever Lazy very deceptive Internet
17th of Nov, 2011 by User234974
Forever Lazy has a real scam going on. I was tempted by their offer of 'two for the price of one' offer. I went on the website and ordered one grey and one pink expecting to pay the one price with an additional shipping of $7.00. I proceeded to check out and there was never a total presented to me. A few minutes later, I received an email confirmation and my order was over $90.00. I was receiving 4 items and nearly half the cost was shipping and handling. I called immediately to report the problem. The phone operator explained that it would take 4-6 hrs for her to receive the order so I needed to call back. I called back in 4 hours and in 6 hours. Both times I was told they did not have my order yet. The first thing the next morning I called to cancel the order and they told me it had already shipped. I was very frustrated and tried calling a different operator but this did not help. The second operator offered me a $35 discount for my trouble and I agreed as long as I had confirmation that my credit card was not being billed the full amount. She stated that the adjustment would show on the www.customerstatus.com in one hour. It is now 24 hrs. later, I have called 3 times and I did not get any discount. This is a terrible way to treat customers. If the product is good, then there is no need to deceive people in the process of ordering or hold them hostage in their orders. Do not order from this company!

We just had the exact same thing happen to us. This company should be embarrassed by what they are doing to customers. Obviously they will not be successful if everyone is getting screwed everytime they place an order. Perhaps they only care to make their money for the holiday season, and then they close up shop after they have made their money by scamming everyone. I am really suprised they can get away with this, and assume it is only a matter of time before it becomes a lawsuit. I will fight to make sure they get no money of mine. Absolutely ridiculous.

I also got scammed...263.00 for mine...and there was a 63.00 shipping price???? I did get a hold of a real person...the US customer service number is 1-866-684-0473. The lady there did say she would cancel my order. So I am hoping this is the case...because I did not plan to pay 59.00 for each instead of the 29.99, they were advertised for...grrrr...

This a classic "Bait & Switch" scam. DO NOT buy from these scammers unless you can afford to waist $50 on their scam tactics. If you order 2 (which they say is free +S&H) you will be charged FULL price for the second. The total does not show up until you put in your credit card number. As soon as you do your card is CHARGED!!!

This a classic "Bait & Switch" scam. DO NOT buy from these scammers unless you can afford to waste $45 on their scam tactics. If you order 2 (which they say the second is free +S&H) you will be charged FULL price for the second. The total does not show up until you put in your credit card number. As soon as you do your card is CHARGED!!! I called customer support, immediately after ordering, they said "sorry, we cannot help, your order is completed"

Here's my story of my Forever Lazy nightmare. It is the usual story. I ordered online. Wanting 2 colors I picked 1 blue and 1 gray. After I entered my personal information and credit card. Then TADA! They charged me for 4 items. There was no confirmation page they just charged my card. I called immediately and they claimed to not have my order in thier system. Are they using 1960s computers? Every cyber business has always had my order inside of a few minutes. Forever Lazy said it would take 24 to 48 hours to be in the system. I called back 24 hours later and then they told me my order could not be changed because it had already shipped. Hmm.. Strange that the shipment didn't go out until 5 days later. They lied on the first second third fourth and fifth time I contacted them. I of course immediately called my credit card company and filed a dispute. BofA has reversed the charge, now I get to see how aggressive they will be on fighting the reversal. I got the final insult, they acknowledged receipt of my return and are trying to charge $31 for postage and handling. Huh? I got thier package, did not open it, posted and handled it myself. I sent the unopened package back the same day as I received it. I will fight these criminals until the end. They WILL NOT get any of my money for thier attempted theft of my money.

you guys are stupid. if you read the website it says your free one is the same size and color as the original one you purchased. you deserve to lose every single penny you claim is "stolen" from you for not reading.

'yall suck' is incorrect.

(1) any respectable online merchant offers the consumer a chance to confirm that their order is correct before charging them. forever lazy does not do this.

(2) any respectable customer service department makes an honest effort to ensure that an exchange of money for goods and services is beneficial both to the consumer and to the company. if a customer wants to purchase 2 rather than 4 of a product, and the order has not been shipped yet, why not give the customer what they want?

so now here's the real question. why doesn't 'yall suck' undertsand the above two points?

i'll tell you why. think about who would be likely to read this page and comment.
(i) someone who got scammed.
(ii) someone who is deciding whether foreverlazy is a scam
(iii) someone who works for forever lazy

if "yall suck" were in category (i) or (ii), then there is no way he would post such a comment. i'll leave the obvious inference as an exercise to the reader.

Same thing happened to me today. ordered two, different sizes, expecting to be charged the advertised $29.95 plus $7.95 s&H. (by the way, there is nothing on the site that says you had to order the same size/color; not ANYWHERE on the site). Was charged $91.70. Since they couldn't access my order yet (????) I had a feeling I was being scammed and that the minute my order was processed, it would be shipped and thus charged. The site DOES say it wouldn't refund shipping and handling; so I not only get charged but would have to go through the hassle of returning. I opted to call my bank and they said the transaction wasn't authorized yet so I had to cancel my debit card(couldn't stop payment otherwise)...because I refuse to let this company attempt to get any money out of me.
Also- most websites tell you what your total amount to be charged is before you authorize the transaction; this site doesn't. I should have known not to give my credit card info prior to knowing what they were actually charging. never again.
