Signed up for "free credit reports and scores" on a 7 day free trial period. Web page specifically indicated that no charges would be made for 7 days and would only cost 14.95 per month with access to all 3 credit scores. I signed up on 12/23/10. Today,12/26/10 I happened to check my bank account and surprise surprise.. I had been charged 24.95 by this company. I called them and they said that the 24.95 was for the 3 credit scores. I told them that this was not stated anywhere on thier website. their response was that this charge was non-refundable. Warning to all - if you want your credit report and scores - get it on annualcreditreport.com At least that is a free government agency and the reports are truly free. they do charge for your credit score but at least it is explicity explained.

Had the same thing happen to me, only the charge was $30 now in 2011. They brought it down to $15 after I complained. A big scam!!! The guy told me I was "warned" by two pages which asked me if I was "really really" sure if I wanted to go ahead. I saw no such pages!! He said "usually old people or those with really bad vision, or perhaps those who are young and not used to using a debit card are typically the ones who make this mistake". I was furious.

Their customer service was rude, insistent and were repetitive zombies - I told her I felt sorry for her at this job because you could tell she was not supposed to respond in any way other than the script. I finally said, "cancel my service" louder and louder, over and over, until she finally said ok.

Terrible company, terrible dishonest way of making a buck!!!
