Garden Company Austin Kevin Ellner, Stole my money left yard in a shamble Austin, Texas

I hired Kevin Ellner on Nov 9th 2010 to complete what he told me would be about a week's worth of landscaping projects. I signed a contract and paid him $2000 up front. The contract specifically listed the work to be done. It is now February 23, 2011 and the work has only been about one quarter completed. The work that has been done is very shoddy and it has taken almost daily emailing, texts, and calls with the threat of charges being filed to even get this much done. It has been a nightmare. Keven uses numerous names for his business including Garden Company Austin, Ecodesign. I originally found Kevin by searching for landscaping on Craig's List Austin. He did provide three letters of reference only one of whom including a phone number for contact. This person did give the thumbs up but is no longer reachable by phone. I have filed a complaint with the office of attorney general and the better business bureau and am now pursuing a court case against him. Had I done a simple Google search I would have avoided months of frustration. Avoid this landscaper at all cost!
