George Velez is a liar and a con man. He said he would train our puppy for $299. We made the mistake of paying him in full. The deal was 6 sessions but a lifetime guarantee. He disappeared for weeks...said he had a lawsuit pending in NY (probably against him). He finally "returned" and we saw him for a few sessions. He would show up late and he would cancel unexpectedly. Since October he will not return our phone calls. We were close to 6 sessions, but no where near what he had promised the dog would be. He said that he would continue to work with us until the dog was where we wanted her to be. Now after reading these other stories I wish I had looked into him before we hired him. It makes me sick to my stomach knowing that we got scammed, along with everyone else. The only things he "taught" the dog were things she probably would have learned as she got older anyway. He needs to be stopped.
