This organization has had some internal issues. They actually closed there resuce and posted on there web site that they were no longer going to exsist. I had a foster dog in my care who has health issues so I adopted this dog in July of 2011. In October of 2011 it came to my attention that The GSRCNY was back on a different web site and they had my dogs Profile still posted with pictures I had taken and were asking for donations for his CARE!!! I did call the number listed and asked to talk to someone with GSRCNY. I then told them that they had pictures taken by me owned by me posted on there web site and that I and my family no longer wished to be afflicated with there organization. And that I wanted them taken off. I was told that they were there property and that they would not be taken down. I then told this person that they did not have any written permission by me the photographer to use my pictures and that they needed to be taken down. I was told that someone would have to call me and they would need my name phone number and the name of the dog. I gave them all this and was told that my dog who I adopted and is in my procession was not supose to be adopted and that he was not up for adoption?? I have not received any calls from anyone and they still have my my dog posted on there site and are asking for donations for his care!! I also know that there are other dogs posted as being in foster care who have been adopted and they are posted and they are also asking for Donations. Potental Adopters BEWARE!!
