Global Resources, LLC For those with problems with Global Resources, Here is their employment ad for Orlando area Orlando, Florida |

I am just posting the link to Global Resources, LLC website and to a Careerbuilder ad in Orlando. I came across the ad and immediately recognized it for a possible clone of a famous business consulting scam operating out of Chicago, Illinois with consultants flying all over the US. The consultants usually ARE experienced professionals like CPA's, etc who honestly think the work will be done for the customer. They sell a business consulting program, but the firm doesn't always to what they were expected to do. I do not have any experience with Global Resources, but am posting this info for anyone researching them since there are numerous ripoff complaints, AND this firm is also based in Illinois, but advertising for consultants from Orlando. Global's website (and there could be more, and using different business names or locations) is: http://www.gr-us.com/ The Orlando area job posting using the CareerBuilder job website used by the Orlando Sentinel is: http://www.careerbuilder.com/JobSeeker/Jobs/JobDetails.aspx?sc_extcmp=JS_JobAlert_Title&ipath=PSSGT30P&psa=1&Job_DID=J8B2P96NZXNQQFQQXDX If this listing expires, try searching on CareerBuilder.com for Orlando jobs from Global Resources, LLC. I almost joined the other firm in Chicago. A red flag was when they required ME to pay one way fare to fly there for one week of training. That is when I researched them further and found all the complaints and decided not to take the "opportunity". I am guessing this firm works the same way based on the number of ripoff reports. One way they reduce chances you will find a complaint is that ya customer or former employee might file a complaint with your local BBB, but each BBB region office only take complaints for businesses with an office in their region. These types of firms don't have local offices, only one HQ office in another state. Thus, if you find their actual office location, check the BBB for that area to find complaints. Stupid BBB does not cross index complaints between BBB regions, so checking for complaints in your local Dallas BBB office won't find any complaints for a firm based in Illinois. I therefore do not consider BBB to be a valid consumer information provider to detect customer problems with national consulting firms. |
