Scam job job offer

Got a craigslist email saying to IM him on Yahoo messenger for an interview. I had a bad vibe from the jump because he could not speak proper English and was blabbing on about the company and not the job. I never even did an application and when I went to the Goldmansachs site and looked at jobs there was nothing about work at home jobs.

So he kept going on and on and I said enough about the company what will I be doing, pay, work conditions then told me the pay was $20 per hour. I knew that data entry clerks did not get paid that much and it was very unprofessional. Work at home jobs usually have a phone interview or none at all and you just feel when one is legit. I googled scam and the company and found this site.He misspelled stuff and did not talk proper english at all so I blasted him.

I too received a similar email about a job. No one ever called me though, they just communicated through email and said to set up a yahoomessenger account. I was on board until they started asking for my information. Then I decided to google them and of course I find this as well as other things. I confronted them and they logged off immediately and took down the old lady's picture they were using. I knew something was fishy when they started out saying my name is Khloe Wayne and I'm 53. Why would I need to know that. Anyway please be aware and do not get sucked in by this scam.

I had the yahoo interview today and miraculously got the job. Then I realized there was a phrase used that made me feel uncomfortable. It talked of depositing a check they sent me for expenses and then cashing it out. What the heck does that mean? So, it was a wiz bang boom thrill until the old saying kept ringing in my head, "if it's too good to be true..." Thank you for posting about yours. It's always better to be real!
