GPM Magic Mesh
GPM Magic Mesh Mesh Bug Screen for Doors Wallingford, Connecticut

I called to place an order, based on the TV ad, to order one magic mesh and get the 2nd one free, all for $19.95 plus S&H. I did not talk to a live person, just a computer. After I had given my Credit card info, the voice asked if I wanted to upgrade to a finer mesh and a 1 yr. warrenty for an additional charge. I quickly decided that I did not want any of it, because I thought I would be getting a fine enough mesh and a warrentied item anyways, so I said, "cancel the entire order". The computer voice kept talking, completely ignoring what I had just said. So, I kept saying "cancel the entire order" over and over again. The voice kept on, even with other products, etc. I finally hung up, called my credit card company, and reported the incident. The service rep. told me that normally the fee gets charged right away to my account, and nothing had come through. So I thought that maybe they got my message of cancelled order after all. Well, we came back from vacation yesterday, and found the box from GPM Magic Mesh on my front porch! And my CC had been charged $107.55 by GPM Magic Mesh! When I called the customer service today, asking for the entire amount back, the rep told me, once they had the box back (we sent it back today, unopened), they would reimburse me the purchase price, and that I had supposedly placed three orders! I feel totally taken advantage off, I didn't place three orders, I cancelled even the original order while still on the phone, but you don't get to talk to a person who can process that request. I think this company uses fraudulent business practices! I wish I would know where to report them, to protect other gullible and trusting customers from falling prey to their fraudulent ways of doing business.

Same thing happened to me I actually ordered on line and couldn't find any way of contacting them so I called my bank and had my credit card suspended for 3 weeks thinking that this order wouldn't go through and 10 days after reactivating my card I got this email thanking me for my order. When I went through the process of ordering I knew that I had made a mistake but figured I would be able to fix my order when I got to the shopping cart page but as I kept going through the process hitting next page all of a sudden the last page came up to confirm my order and I'm not too sure how many I will be getting, I also think that I will be receiving some balancers which I didn't want. How in the hell is this legal, do they think that they are oil companies to screw the people like this.

I placed an order I never got. However, on the website used, there is no contact number. Since USER413724 was able to contact them, would you have a phone number?

They just debited my account for $132. for the buy one get one free and the better screen upgrade! I canceled the order when I see that price and got a confirmation email. Now I find they had two orders for me (I was only on that site once) and now I can't get in touch with anyone to get this corrected. Their number says call back later (doesn't even say it's busy), and the Customer Service link leads no where!

That phone number worked for me too! They were not very easy to deal with, said I had three orders and canceled two. I made one and cancelled one! I'll still be stuck for the postage for one order. If you have a problem, call the number posted by Mike! Thanks Mike!!

Yes, I too got scammed with a online purchase. I first saw this product on TV but had a bad experience with purchasing via phone from a TV ad so thought online would be safer...NOT. I called my bank and they recommended to cancel the card I used and reissue a new card as Stringer reported "suspending" his card did not work and they were able to put the charges through after it was activated. Cancelling and reissuing a new card would avoid it being processed again. They probably have it set up in the computers for the charges to be attempted again and again at some intervals until it goes through. I am not even going to call the 800 number to alert them as it may trigger something else. Stupid for me to research this scam AFTER I placed an order. Life Lesson learned. Screw them, I think I will make my own. It is simply two strips of vynal screening with magnets stuck to it, and maybe sell it on eBay. I will check what cable channel I saw this ad on and contact and complain to them for not monitoring obvious scams. Thanks for this website
