Grant Assist I was charged fradulant charges from this company for $.94 and $57.93. I never accessedtheir site, and they refused to take the charges

I received from this company on August 13th, 2011 a charge for $.97. Then another charge appeared in the amount of $57.93 on August 20th. I did not know what this company was nor what the charges were for. I called my bank and they gave me an 800 number to contact them. I called a total of three times and dealt with rude, unresponsive operators, including 2 managers. They would not tell me what the charges were for- they just said to read the contract. I asked them what contract- and they said I should of read it more thoroughly. I told them I have NEVER been to their web site, nor saw any contract. They verified it was true that I have never accessed their site. However, they would not refund the money. They claim the charges are valid, and would not give me any reason as to why. From talking to them I gather I was supposed to receive some kind of 'kit', although I do not know what this kit if for, or what it has in it. And of course, I NEVER received that either. I could tell they have received several of these complaints! And upon googling it, I see that was true! I had to cancel my credit card, and make a police report, however I am still out of $58.60. The money was given to them- and I received NOTHING for it. I firmly believe this is how they stay in business. They are a scam, and if not they would have no problem refunding my money because no services and/ or goods were ever rendered for them. Instead they are rude, unresponsive, and should be stopped!
