Greater California Financial Services sent me a fake collection bill, Paso Robles, California
9th of Jan, 2011 by User459776
Greater California Financial Services presented me with a letter, stating I owe them money for a credit card I never owned. They hope that people do not keep good record of their debts and try to take advantage of that. When an account goes into collection, the account number can get changed and if you don't keep good control over it, it can get messy. Greater California Financial Services prays on consumers who lost track and hope that when the time comes you want to settle your debts, they will get a piece of the pie. DO NOT PAY, unless they can prove to you they really own a debt that you once owned. Chances are they can't prove anything. Save yourself the money.Below is a sample letter you can send to them.
