Green Dot Computer glitch overdraft Internet, California

On May 20, 2011 I loaded $250.00 onto my Green Dot card and made purchases and paid bills for that amount. I checked my balance the next day and I was shocked to learn that I was almost 200.00 overdraft. Their computer double charged me for three bill pays and as a result one charge was declined. It took until May 25th to rectify and get credited for their mistake. Just recently, that credit card, whose payment was declined, told me that because of that declined payment they are closing my account. I told the credit card company that it wasn't my fault as the money was in the account but due to a computer glitch it got returned. They told me that if I could get something in writing from Green Dot about the error they would consider re-opening my account. I called Green Dot and spole to a representative and a supervisor and was politely told that they don't send letters like that. So I have now lost an $800.00 credit line due to Green Dot's error and they won't stand up and accept responsibility for it. Run far away from this company. It will cost you. In my case an $800.00 store credit card.
