Prepare to be duped by Guangzhou Doop HID Company in China Our USA company purchased hid bulbs from Doop HID company in China. We ordered from this company at least 4 times. The quality of the first several orders was acceptable. However, on our most recent order they started to give us poor quality hid bulbs, while at the same time raising their prices stating that they are improving their quality so they must start to charge more. Our most recent order from Doop HID caused thousands of dollars in damage to customers vehicles by frying their ballasts and igniters. These customers vehicles were inspected by the official Volkswagen, Acura, BMW dealers, etc and the dealers pin pointed the damage as being caused by the bulbs. The dealer charged on average $800 for each of these repairs per customer. We forwarded the actual invoice and pictures from the customers and dealers showing the damage on multiple vehicles to Doop HID. We also gave them the contact information for the customer as well as the dealer that fixed the damage, so that they could contact the parties involved to confirm that these repairs were actually completed and that the claims were legitimate. We started to receive claims of damages to vehicles every week. Doop HID refused to take any responsibility for these damages and tried to string us along the whole time by making us think that they were looking into the issue. They claim to have a warranty period on their hid bulbs. From the 1-2 years that we have dealt with Doop HID, they have never once paid for a single warranty claim. This company will sell you acceptable quality hid bulbs for your first few orders, then they will wait for your largest order and give you terrible quality bulbs and then ignore you after the damage claims come in. We also had issues with the bulbs fitting into head lamp enclosures, so we informed Doop HID of this issue. Doop HID contacted their manufacturer and confirmed that the bulb bases were made too thick during production, yet they refused to warranty any of these bulbs as well. In addition they also claim to have a lead time of 3-5 days. It was not uncommon for the orders to take 4-6 weeks to arrive even when using air shipping. All other bulb manufacturers take 7-10 days to arrive including the production time. Search Terms:
