In late December of 2010, I, Kevin J. Mamon, relocated from Indianapolis, Indiana and to Henderson, Kentucky. Upon my arrival tothe town, Ireported to the Henderson County Judicial Center in Henderson, Kentucky to obtain a State Issued Government identification card; Initially I was refused service because I was newto the state. However, after I ascertained that being a resident for "more than a year" was nota requirement for obtaining an ID card I reported back to the Judicial Center and requested an ID card. I was told that they would not issue me an ID, "PERIOD". I then was able to get a new resident from Florida (who happened to be white) to go to the Judicial Center and obtain an ID; this guy had no proof of address whatsoever but he was GRANTED an identification card. After all of this, I then realized that I was being BLATANTLY discriminated against and filed a report with district attorney Steve Gold, who merely advised "file a lawsuit [and] go back to Indianapolis". I later attempted to contact Steve Gold via e-mail, however my e-mails were blocked. I am now pursuing criminal charges for "official misconduct".
