I bought 3 software products from this company: "Hide my IP", "Hide my MAC Address", and "Cookies Crumbler". I tested them for under 48 hours (less than 2 days) before discovering that these software applications all degraded my computer's performance (slowed everything down), screwed-up my home network (IP addresses not found on previously-networked computers that WERE working fine before installing their programs), just a real big list of one-headache-after another. Their website says: "Our 30 Day Refund Policy". But, when I politely told them the software was not working correctly, and I had no more patience to try to tinker with it, and ask for a refund, these people told me that because I had requested a refund *AFTER 24 HOURS* from date of download, I could just go get lost and "shove" my refund request. I've been buying software for many, many years over the web. This was the FIRST time I've ever run into such a BAIT-AND-SWITCH scam advertising "30 day refund policy" . . . . which in reality turns into a "24 hour" refund policy. My advice to anybody thinking about buying "Hide My Ip" or "Hide My MAC Address" or "Cookies Crumbler" . . . or ANYTHING from these people (My Privacy Tools) . . . is DO NOT DO IT. You will regret it. (It won't take long before you run into a brick wall of "sorry . . . . no support . . . no refunds", etc. LEARN FROM MY EXPERIENCE! (Buy from some OTHER company -- not these mafia type con-artists.) Enough said. This kind of "bait-and-switch" company is what makes people nervous about buying over the Internet.
