SCAM:HARRASSING PHONE CALLS:

I keep receiving harrassing phone calls from this debt collection company who are based in Minneapolis,Mn...I once spoke to someone and told them that I DID NOT OWE A CENT....they then put an inquiry on my credit report and in effect, have lowered my perfect credit score.....this particular bill for $200 dollars was paid four years ago to the place that it was owed to ....apparently, thie debt collection company buys old files.......if they do not stop phoning me and leaving no message.....and do not correct the situation..( I sent them a letter with the cancelled check,indicating that it was paid--thenI will file a police report as well as a reprot to the attorney general of their state.....btw: when I spoke to the guy there....I told him that I have my cancelled check to prove pay,ment years ago....the idiot did not know what a cancelled check was.......?thoughts ?what to do ?????????
