I ordered a DVD series, "The Equalizer", from getitnowdvd.com aka North Fork Memoribilia. They charged my credit card for $70.00 (inc shipping) supposedly by the USPS. The transaction showed up on my credit card statement (posted the day after my order). Needless to say, no DVD's have arrived in the time promised. After trying to find them on the internet and by phone, there is nothing but pages that are not available. I am now aware, from reading other reports here at Ripoff Reports, that this is indeed a scam. I am furious that this has happened. I need some guidance in trying to contact them for a refund, or, direction in how to make sure that these thieves are held responsible. Thank you.

You can call your credit card company and request a 'cash-back' from the company.
If you used a postal money order, you can get a refund from the post office after filling out a form giving them permission to retrieve the money you lost.
If you sent a check, send a COPY of the check (both sides) to the Consumer Fraud division of your State Attorney General's Office (you can do this on-line if you want.

Consumers need to fight back against these scammers! Let the law work for the victim for a change:-)
