Isle of Capri Casino The Isle Casino double charged for meals in Farradays and did not refund money Pompano Beach, Florida

We had a family dinner at the restaurant located in the Isle Casino in Pompano, called Farradays. The meal was fine, but when the check came we paid with a pre-paid Visa card and the waiter came back to say there was no money on the card. We knew there had to be a mistake because the card was brand new and was still in the package. We believed what he said and paid the amount in cash instead. When we got home and went online to check the balance, we found that the waiter had in fact charged the card and left a very small balance on it. The details of the purchase were available to us, and it was at the time we paid, reflecting the purchase at the Isle casino. We called the manager and were told that they would give us a gift certificate to eat there again, but that our money would not be refunded for the double payment. Clearly the Isle allows their employees to blatantly scam their customers with no consequence. The Isle casino in Pompano is not a trusted place of business.
