| I want to warn anyone even remotely considering going to ITT Tech or working there. I worked with the most dishonest, pathological liar Kim Wade-She was Director of Recruitment. ITT is run like a used-car lot...lots of lies, ommissions, we were told to LIE to the students. Kim told us it was okay to drink on our lunch or dinner breaks...wtf?! What kind of a boss would announce that to the entire recruitment department? Talk about putting the company in hot water! She had to move to OKC from TX to hide her past work history and her drinking issues. I was told by a former co-worker she was an alcoholic and a pathological liar by a former boss's girlfriend. One of the CJ professor's sexually harassed a student, the nursing chair left bc she knew the OKC nursing program didn't meet criteria/standards of the nursing board and didn't want to lose her nursing license (can't blame her there). They fired numerous temp workers bc of Kim's lies. Complete fabrications of people! The temp workers were good, quality, and competent workers-we felt SO bad for them because this little jealous, bitchy 23yr. old named Julie Anson, would lie about them if they didn't kiss her ass. She was JUST a library assistant...lol. She LOVED to get people fired and she reported numerous coworkers to the "hotline". Totally fake and naive to the fact that her boyfriend was screwing 2 of his employees/her coworkers when he was the Director of Recruitment. Yelled at one of her friends and made up awful lies about her that were not true. Co-workers calls the "hotline" on each other. Kim and the reps will tell students ANYTHING to pressure them into signing up! ITT is a for-profit company...NOT a school/college. When you get out you will have a worthless piece of paper and $50,000 student loan debt. DO NOT go to ITT Tech in OKC or any other campus. You've been warned...take these reports seriously. They are the absolute truth! The student drop-out rate is horrible and the employee turnover is HUGE. I saw over 9 people leave/quit/fired in just 3 months time. The Dean, Dr. Leena Gupta, PHd, MD, is not a very nice person to work with and is a micro-manager. She has to work at a fake school because she can't work in medicine because nobody will hire her in Oklahoma...she has a very bad reputation. Also, 40% of the student body is comprised of ex-felons...have fun with that! I think a federal agency should delve deep into ITT Tech because they're basically stealing federal financial aid and price-gouging the student and leaving them with a phony "degree". If you live in Oklahoma, you can get the same AA degree for around $3,000, not $50,000 for a phony one for an Associate's from ITT. Check out Francis Tuttle, Metro-Tech, Moore-Norman VoTech, UCO, etc.-ALL are much better options, cheaper, and REAL DEGREES!!! Whatever you do, I really hope you DO NOT choose to go to ANY ITT Technical Institute. Horrible, horrible, horrible!!!!!!! RUN!!!!!! |
