this guy claimed hes a recent undergraduate and works for canary wharf.. has so many ads everywhere.. uses many fake names including jack smith, jack carter, jack kada,,
he uses different email addresses: , , [email protected] , uk phone number: 07730753817 .. +447730753817
gumtree ad reference 78027739 ..
he took 1325 from me paid via paypal .. forced me to pay him as a gift so that I cant open cases or dispute .. didnt do the work.. phone is off.. never replies to emails, txts, or answer phone calls..
I dono what can I do to get him down and get my money back?! paypal wouldnt do anything to me.. |

I got caught out by this guy as well - His real name is Jack Carter but uses the alias Jack Smith
He lives in Croydon and seems to work day to day in Reigate
He has an endless number of contact numbers (Which I dont believe he even pays for) and has used phone numbers for a matter of days before the genuine owner has realised his phone number has been stolen
I have not been able to trace his exact home address
Beware of him - He sounds convincing and in hindsight looks like a heavy drug user |

I saw another advertisement he placed on Gumtree - He now seems to indicate that he prefers to meet people in Birmingham
Be careful - He is 5 foot 6 inches, has blond mousy hair and is very convincing |

I got done by this guy too. He bought several household ebay items from me, Bathrooms, Flooring etc, we met several times to review the purchases and with his building crew. After several fiascos with hire vans being delayed and breaking down I gave the crew access to the house so they could start work while I was at work. My greatest error of judgement. The property was removed before I got home, no payment and now he won't return my calls. Do not have anything to do with this person and avoid at all costs.
You may get taken by the farcical turn of events and bad luck that seems to befall him. Don't, it's all BS. Hindsight is 20:20. If I wrote down all the incidents I'd have seen a pattern quite quickly.
He is about 5 foot, plump, wavy dark hair and softly spoken. Accent is not very descript, sounds a bit foreigh, maybe from the South East, not cockney at all. Uses terms like, "God Bless You." He will engage you several times, no problem to build up a level of trust. Phone, text and ebay messages no problem, until the deal goes sour then he'll disappear.
He uses the ebay alias harrycarter and current mobile number, 07730753817. He drives a silver Skoda Estate.
I urge you to have nothing to do with this individual. |
