After read all the stories about this company, I can't agree more about the option for a civil law suit and I am surprise why no one has done this yet.

My story is pretty much the same, sale rep came to my office presented the "wonderful referral service" and made the phone call on the spot to his boss "Mr Perry Eldad", create a three payment plan for total of $2077.40.

Of course, nothing happened as was agreed. First pmt was cashed before the contract came effect, ads department took a month to create the ad, then referral sales kept telling me to call me back. Two months went by, I went to the website where my business listing should already be there on the day after I signed up the service, nothing can be found.

Another wild goose chase, I got no where. Email the rep, no response. I start to research the complains about this company, and found many, many complains. I think if we get together, it should be able to be a class-action law suit.

My husband owns a tile installation business. He was contacted recently (August 2011) by a man by the name of Meny Yaloz who claimed to be the "Owner" of Jewish Marketing Solutions TM DAG. When Mr. Yaloz first contacted my husband, he made it sound like he had a huge job he wanted to hire him for. This was apparently simply a ploy to get my husband to meet with him to discuss purchasing advertising in one or more of their "directories" and inclusion in their "referral service" to the tune of around $3, 000 (which he was willing to break into $300. per month payments). This Meny Yaloz is a stereo-typical old school salesman, VERY pushy and frankly insulting. You can smell comisssion on his breath from a mile away! He claimed to be the Owner of the company but then turned around and said that he would "break it down to $300. per month but would be getting in trouble with his boss". When he began pressuring my husband to sign the contract, and my husband told him he would be discussing it with his wife as she is an integral part of the business, he responded "REALLY? Your WIFE? It's ONLY $300. a month!"

What he did not know is that we saw right through him and all of his deception and high pressure tactics. Additionally, we have owned a Legal Service Plan for the past eight years through a 40 year old company called Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. (in fact, we liked it SO much, I became a Marketing Associate!), and one of the MANY benefits we receive (for only $26. a month) is Unlimited Contract and Document Review at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. So, we do not sign ANYTHING unless we have our attorney review it first! If we would have told him THAT, he would have gone home running in his Dodge Stratus and never bothered to follow up. My advice is to steer clear of this company, Jewish Marketing Solutions DAG.

Do yourself a favor and check into how a "Life Events Legal Plan" can protect you, your family, assets, business and employees, legally nationwide and against identity theft for approx. $1. a day and NO yearly contract. You WILL be amazed at how much coverage and value you get! Feel free to contact me directly at 888-448-1489 if you have any questions. I am here to help!

My husband was also contacted on behalf of this company on the basis that they were looking at helping us expand our business lead trail. Instead it turned into a nightmare pitch for advertising in the Jewish Yellow Pages. Mind you, we were not allowed to look through the yellow book thoroughly or keep a copy as the "salesperson" only had one on hand. The saleswoman "Nelly" who came to the office was an absolute nightmare. She refused to leave as it was absolutely necessary for us to speak to her boss and she had to make the sale that day. After realizing this was not a good situation, we walked out of the office into the public street on the premise of having another appointment to attend. This was the creepiest form of sales pitch we had ever experienced. To date she still calls trying to get business from us ... I would not get involved with this company!

My experience was totally different. The sales rep came to my office. When through the presentation in detail answered all my questions. My concern was if other businesses had the same success that were in my field. Naturally I picked up the directory and made a few phone calls. The response was very positive. I received a half page ad at a very reasonable rate. They even gave me payment installments. A few days after I signed, I was contacted to design the advert. Shortly after, my ad was online. I started receiving calls almost immediately. As we all know, there are risks involved in advertising. I placed adverts in other yellow pages and my experience was similar to the above. However, Jewish Marketing Solutions has proven to be my sole means to promote my business. The positive is that they are not only geared to one type of community although their name might lead you to believe so. The staff is very friendly. Overall it has been a wonderful experience. I will in no way demean this company in the future, even is I don't receive the return as expected.

Wow. I wish I read reviews before they scammed me out of $1200. I've had the same experiences with rudeness, pushiness, and plain old lying with them. I could say more but "ditto" says it all. The positive post from Ciroprc254 sounds as phony as they do.

This company is the Jewish Referral Service, also known as "JRS", or the "Jewish Community Center". It is a complete scam, do not trust anything that comes out of their mouths, they are out to take your money and completely deprive you of the advertising services they claim to offer. Not worth anyone's time. Boss's name is Avi Shefi, also goes by "Henry". Do not fall for their lies!!

Approached by saleswoman caroline edri she promised me numerous things which later I found out the company isn't even capable of doing (search engine optimization, twitter account updating, etc). Took all my money only put an ad in paper (which I said from beginning did not interest my business). After filing complaint w BBB they finally refunded a third of my money. That was almost a year ago, at least 2-8 times a month they call me looking for us to advertise. Regardless of pleading with them to remove me from list they continue to call and harass. Never let me speak to a manager and are always pushy, rude and ignorant. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever come across, ever!
