JIM ARGUELLES , Wood Restoring Scam, Swindle, Fraud, Ripoff San Marcos, California

I paid unlicensed contractor, JIM ARGUELLES, dba Wood Restoring 760-419-3379 in San Marcos/San Diego 92069, a $500 deposit to refinish my kitchen cabinet doors per our signed contract. He did no work, and refused to return my deposit. He returned my cabinet doors in damaged condition. He advertises his services in San Diego's Craig's List and the San Diego Union Tribune newspaper. He is a scammer, swindler, thief, fraud and a liar. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM. His web address is www.irefinish.com.
I have filed formal complaints against him for fraud, false advertising, larceny, elder abuse, and extortion with the San Diego DA's Office, State Contractors License Board, FTC, Small Claims Court and BBB, as well as in San Diego's Craig's List. I complained to the ad manager, [email protected], 619-718-5037, at the San Diego Union Tribune newspaper, but she keeps running his ad under "cabinet refinishing" services.
