Buyer beware- we ordered windows, doors, water heaters to the sum of $25K from JM Design and Construction in early 2011 and nothing, repeat nothing was ever delivered. Now the sole owner is "out of the state" unable to return to "retrieve" items from his "personal" storage. We realize that these materials are probably long-gone. While we are lining up someone to fight this for us we need to be sure everyone else is aware that this company, person is a FRAUD at a severe level. He will take your money and never deliver. JM or John McIntosh only works in Northern California. At least we think he does. He preys on people who are single, women, and dont have much experience in remodeling and gets those women to trust him and his judgment. Everything we paid for was three times the market rate- as it relates to labor. He does not have a business license. He sometimes acts like a "handyman". He recently injured himself so doesnt do allot of work - probably because he's living off of what my mother paid him for the materials that were never delivered. Warning....stay away.
