| I had reserved a town car for $68.00 with John's Car Service to take my wife to the Airport. That morning the driver arrived with a older model suburban. After taking my wife to the airport the driver tried to charge my wife $80.00 for the trip. Upon finding this out I called John Steele to ask why a town car was not sent. Mr. Steele told me that he was offended that I questioned him about the vehicle, and then began to accuse my wife of being combative with his driver. While I was trying to express my concerns, he started to get hostile with me on the phone, then he hung up on me. This company is a scam! If you are looking for good customer service, DO NOT USE John's Car Service. |

My name is John Steele and I am the owner of John's Car Service LLC. I am writing this comment to disavow the flagrent lies that Mr. Charles Cowan has written on this forum. He contacted my company after shopping around for several days trying to get the cheapest price for transportation service from Miramar, Fl to Fort Lauderdale Airport. I know this because I offered a quote a week prior to him making the decison to make his reservation. My driver showed up on time in a pristine Chrevrolet Suburban to to take his wife to the airport. She expressed her displeasure that a towncar had not arrived. My driver explained the Suburban was actually an upgrade and that there would be no addional increase in fare. She complained the whole way to the airport even calling her husband, Mr. Cowan. She was charged exactly $68. which was the agreed upon fare. It is a blatant lie saying that she was charged $80. She gave him 4 twenty dollar bills and received the change back. Mr. Cowan called later that day and demanded a $20 refund even though his wife had received on time courteous service. I refused saying he had gotten excellent service. It is 30 miles from his home to Fll. A taxi cab would charge $90. for the same fare yet Mr. Cowan felt he was entitled to an unwarranted discount because the vehicle was not to his wife's liking. The fact that this guy would try and ruin my business I have operated for over 13 years with thousands of satisfied customers shows what kind of an individual he really is. Unfortunately today anyone can post any kind of lie or falsehood on the internet and people will see it. I request that these blantant lies from this disgruntled individual be removed.
