This contractor is a fast talker with no substance. He has been running a ponzi scheme since at least 2008, taking money for one job to support the next job ultimately leaving many customers with no money & no work done. This contractor was hired to replace rotted wood, railings, flooring; purchase & install five storm doors and to stain/paint the outside of the house. Two years after the contract was signed we were left $10,000 poorer and 1/5 of the job done. The 1/5 of the job done was not done well, the contractor would not listen when we asked for specific type of flooring for an outdoor porch on which one coat of stain was applied (paid for three), he would not listen when one stair tread was obviously not level in relation to the remaining stairs, painting was attempted on very windy days with no coverage of trim leaving white trim, screens, doors, light fixtures & porch floors with red paint drippings; installed railings before painting them and now there is exposed wood that is difficult to reach (up against a staircase) - it is truly a mess! This contractor's Web site appears that he is a BBB accredited business, he is NOT. He is using the BBB logo illegally (this is fraud), he is also listing the Lynn Chamber of Commerce along with other "small business" associations, he is NOT a member of any of them. He refused to take out permits for the job, this is a strategy that if the owner of the property takes out the permit they are not eligible for arbitration through Consumer Affairs. We went to Consumer Affairs and await an award in 2012.
