When I joined Just 4u Fitness I was told that there would be no cancellation fee if I had to move far from the gym. That was a selling point for me because me lease was up in a matter of months and I was not sure if I was going to renew. The time came and I moved. I cancelled with the gym and thought that would be the end of the situation. Unfortunately, my account was still being charged. I called and they told me to speak with a manager, who was not in that day or the next or the next. I called the 1800 number and they said there was nothing they could do and speak to the manager. I finally caught up with the manager and said that I should have bought in proof. I told him no one on his staff informed me of this. I would have bought it in the day I came to cancel. I faxed it to him right away and to this day I have not received any of my funds back. They have been charging me for 4 months including maintenance fees. In this economy I can not afford to give away that amount of money. It's a franchise so there is no corporate office to complain to!
