Just Pups DENIED REIMBURSEMENT FOR VET FEES FOR SICK PUPPY Valhalla, New York

I purchased a puppy at the Valhalla store. The puppy was fine at first and then began having a terrible cough and gagging. I called the owner of the store immediately and he stated that we would wait to see what the outcome was with antibiotics. After 3 different antibiotics and numerous phone calls to the owner of the store the puppy still is not better.
He stated in all conversations that he would reimburse me the vet fees and either exchange or refund the price of the puppy. Now he states that it is not his responsibility to do either and I am taking care of a sick puppy (who we love) that has already cost me over $1000.00 in vet fee. I would have been happy wit just the cost of the puppy back or at least 50% of the vet fees. He chose to not take care of anything and basically said too bad it was my responsibilty.
