| JWR Exotic Bird Aier Systems advertises in Bird Talk magazine, and has no address or e-mail, but has a phione number only that is NEVER answwered by anything except an answering machine. Jeff then calls back, or doesn't depending upion Jeff. Jeff has now done this TWICE to me - sent around $300 of unsolicited hardware (air filters, ultra-violet lamps) for a bird air purifier I purchased years ago. He keeps my creadit card data on file, then will SEND me unsolicited stuff a year later, claiming most people desire this kind of automatic lamp and filter replacement. I dion't. I told him a year or two ago, and now He did it AGAIN! So I changed my Credit Card Account to a new number and will NOT advise Jeff. I could have kept the stuff without paying for it legally, because it was unsolicited, yet I tried to be good and had trouble just sending it back because it was delivered to my Private Mail Box by UPS/ Moreover, I now receive a letter with NO RETURN ADRESS, and NO CONTACT information of ANY KIND anywhere, thanking me for my order that I never placed. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY. Either he has a terrible memory or is genuinely a scam artist. |

| I used to buy his products until he felt it was fine to charge my credit card on file for items I did not order. I called him about it and he apologised and credited my account. Two months later the same thing happened, except this time he did not respond to my calls. I called my credit card company and they credited my account after I explained the situation. They also closed that account and gave me a new credit card. He repeatedly tried to charge the old card number. Also, when he says there is a lifetime warranty and repairs are free...that is a crock of crap. He will charge upwards of $200 to repair a unit, which is essentially a fan in a squirrel cage with an ultraviolet light and filters. Even after 5 years he has continued to send me notices that I have won a free unit and can claim my "prize" within 14 days. Such a joke. His Rainforest humidifiers are cheap and do not work well at all. There filters and bulbs and unnecessary costs involved. This guy is bad news!! |

| This is to verify that JWR exotic bird air cleaner company, did the same thing to me, as this other person. You order filters for $99.00, the next thing you know Jeff has sent a couple of light bulbs, and foam covers, you didn't order and charged your, (in my case debit card) over $300.00). I called the F.B.I. and the Federal Trade Commission 877-382-4357, and filed a complaint. This sleazebag evidently has been making a living off innocent people who pay their bills, and have bought his air cleaners for their birds. He sends things you don't order and charges out the roof for something that shouldn't cost over 50 bucks. Keeps your personal card info on file so he can collect whatever, whenever he feels like it. I urge anyone that has had a problem with this guy to call the Federal Trade Commission, and alert the F. B.I. and their bank. |
