On 12-20-11 I purchased a dog from Karen Rancatorefor $320 the very next day the dog was sick I called the Vet and they said to monitor him for 2 days because it seems like it may be car sickness and if on the third day the symptoms persist than bring him to a vet. On the 3rd day the symptoms worsen to including diaherra, bloody stool. vomitting bile so i bought him to Baafield Hospital and they said my dog needed hospitalization which could cost well over 1000, there he was treated with fluids and sugar to boost his energy (this cost 80 dollars)and i was told he could die within twelve hours. I contacted Karen and she immediately put her husband on the phone and he kept stating "It's your dog you take care of it". that day i monitored the dog and at 4am his stool was very bloody and he was having body convulsions so i to an emergency vet which cost 190 and they gave him more fluids and medicine and sugar and told me he needed to be hospitalized asap however i did nto have this type of money Im a student. So i called off of work i had to be there at 7am and missed out on 96 dollars of pay to stay home with Luchi my dog. So i started searching for pet grants and pet funds and called VCA CAUSEWAY ANIMAL CLINIC where i had to put 200 dollars down and the hospital took care of the rest of the cost and Luchi died from Parvo on Christmas a virus Ms. Rancatore said he was vaccinated against. I called ms rancatore for a refund which they denied for 2 days and finally when they agreed they said they woudl onlygive a refund if i can give them my dogs dead body. I agreed and we were to meet in Mandeville, La a 40 minute drive for me and they never showed up.
