Defective Products and Horrible Service

Buyers Beware - Don't Buy Kitchenaid/whirpool products.

I bought a new dishwasher, microwave, range and refrigerator directly from Kitchenaid. I had issues with three out of the four appliances. The microwave worked a total of 5 minutes. It has been serviced three times already and now we are waiting for the megatron and a thermostat to be delivered and then to schedule the forth service call in three weeks. It is sitting on my family room floor waiting.

The dishwasher got here with a large dent in the top of the tub. Instead of replacing as the technician recommended before installation, Kitchen aid decided to send another tub and take the dishwasher apart and rebuilt it in our house. The new tub arrived three weeks later with a dent in it. The technician recommended that we dont use the dented tub as it may cause leaks down the line. Now we have to wait for another tub?

The range needed a new door that finally (again after three weeks) was replaced.

Kitchenaid should deliver products clear of defects and if their products are defective, they should replace them or service them promptly. The consumer purchasing new appliances should be able to use them as soon as delivered and not wait for a months with several technitian visits for each.

This is an un-ending nightmare. I would never buy anything from this company.
