I would like to start off by stating that this facility may have helped an individual or 2, but their business practices resemble those of an average scam. 1. They admit based on insurance
I am a former employee who left on my own will. I worked in a dept. that had access to pretty much any information in any other dept. that I needed to complete my tasks. Therefore, one of the depts. I had access to was the call center. Upon speaking with call center employees (managers included) it was made quite obvious that if a caller or online chatter was in need of help, the very first question that the phone representative was instructed to pose was "do you have insurance?" If the answer was "no", then they immediately passed the caller off to a link or number of a state-funded facitlity. But if they said "yes", then that call was given first priority. They then tried everything in a Zig Ziglar style sales technique to "sell" the caller into coming to the facility (after insurance verification of course). FYI, the cost of a 6 week program at Lakeview Health Systems (Corporate Response LLC's lower end facility) is about $26,000. (This is public knowledge and can be obtained by going to their website at www.lakeviewhealth.com, or their lead gen "informational site" www.recoveryconnection.org (which is setup just to funnel in patients) and they will tell you this information openly. It is public knowledge. Now here's the kicker, if you have GREAT insurance, well, you are so lucky (sarcastic) because you get to go to their marginally better facility at Stepping Stone Center (www.steppingstonecenter.org) and I've heard them squeezing over $45,000 out of an individuals insurance and co-pays for a 6 week program. 2. The COO is an ex-morphine addict
This may bother a few people to know that not only the COO is an ex-addict but so is most of the corporate side, except for legal I believe. 3. They run it like a cattle drive
I am referring to reviews posted by unhappy ex-patients (that were never addressed by the company, which tells you that they do not care about a negative reputation)
