| I am just a small retailer in the netherlands. i started my business few months ago. i do buy few things in some online beauty shop in united states and they are mostly sent through fedex. I came across the contact of this shipping agent from another shipping agent in hongkog. i was told that he is capable of shipping harzadous goods. so, i contacted lavinstar logistic in august 2011. lavinstar assured me that thier company is capable of doing this he even tendered me booking number for each supplier that might want to drop off my goods at his warehouse. some of you might be wondering "why not the usuall fedex"?, well the reason is saving money on shippment cost. if the goods were transported by sea, i will save up to 500 u.s dollars or more! In a short word, 2 suppliers delivered my goods to the warehouse of lavinstar logistic in carteret new jersey between the 23rd and 29th of august 2011, but my goods have not been shipped out till today. The first excuse was that 2 boxes were missing among the 12 boxes and then was this big storm that causes power outbreak in thier warehouse, and then that the goods were delivered without an MSDS certificate, and then the supplier delivered without UN number, and then he has the best packager in the world but the packager could not difrentiate between harzadous goods and normall goods, and then he was away for the weekend..all these in my mail as a proof. i really feel so cheated! the goods are all nail products and mostly nail polishes. i payed over 2,000 u.s dollars on these goods. i also notified him that many of the goods will get damaged if stored too long in a cold warehouse but i think this man never cares. i have sent him an e-mail about 2 weeks ago that i will put this on scam and even arranged that he should deliver my goods to one of my supplier in florida since he cannot ship my goods out. he asked for 200 u.s dollar which was paid unto his account. he promised to send out the goods since last week but to my suprise, he never did! i called him today, and he still says next week just as he is being saying since september. I have never been through such ordeal before. and united states is the last place i will ever think that such things could happen! . honestly, if anybody reading this knows a way in finding justice on this issue..please do not hestitate to contact scam .( on my behalf ). i have a feeling that this company has been busy with this kind of fraud a long time.. cheating on foreign traders especially u.s non residents. I am ready to take this case to any level. i have considered my merchandise lost and damaged ..there is nothing more to loose! |
