Received a call from individual claiming that I owe money to a payday loan Quick Cash and Cash Advance. They gave me a dollar amount, stated they have 3 charges against me and listed them as violation of federal banking laws, theft by deception and one other charge. They cussed me, I told him I did not have these loans. He said it was not for me to prove to him, he wanted my attorney number so they can fax a report stating charges were filed against me. He said the are fling with my employer (which he named) and advised me to close my bank account and put the money in a prepay card. I have called the lender in which I do have a loan with and they indicated they have heard of this scam but I am current on my loans. Do not fall for this scam my lender said they are trying to use scare tactics to get me to pay.

I never took out a loan. I tried, no monies ever deposited in my account, I have bank statements. The call came in from "international number" per my caller ID, everyone had an Indian accent. I refused to speak with them after that, I have proof of no deposit made it will be difficult for them to say otherwise.
