Thank goodness I read reports from other folks. I appreciate the information since this guy who responded to my Craigslist ad did not sound just right. I hope other folks have the sense to do what I did and google this guy's name. Same thing as the other reports. He says he is interested in some antique glassware and asks for the same info....name, address, phone, etc. so he can send a certified check. He even had the ignorance to answer me twice. Once under another name and once referring to an ad other than mine. He does not understand English. This is your first tip he is a fraud! I decided to "play" with him a bit and tell him I do not do business that way and he should send me a credit card number, the name, address and 3 digit code so I can charge to that account if he does not want to have cash brought for the product. :)
