Beware of advertisements of sales opportunities with Life Alert. They will advertise much income and will not pay any one a base, which is fine but will take you on as a 1099 independent contractor, will train you for 3 days and will have you on the phones selling. What they forget to tell the new salesmen is that the new salesmen will be calling out to old requests that some will have been called 10 to 40 times and want nothing to do with them any more as these people request information from some advertisement and then end up in a call center called out after they receive a form back. These leads are recycled and called time after time and handed over to the new salesperson as the others walk out from lack of success. The few that have stayed and have been with the company for years end up with the fresh leads and any sales from those that might get a sale from these recycled leads and leave from lack of success. Don't be fooled or waste your time thinking that these sales departments of this company are any credible or care, you will be lied to and in any industry that does this to their sales reps they are not worth representing.
