As a previous customer of Life Test Atl I began receiving numerous calls in Jan 2011 offering me a complimentary scan myself & spouse if listened to presentation on benefits of scan packages they offer. Made appointment for Wed Jun 8, 2011 10:00 am. We arrived promptly asked to complete some forms which we did and by 10:15 we were escorted to an office for the
presentation. Presentation began with picture of Neil Boortz and Royal Marshall local Atl radio personalities (whom we're familiar with) telling us only if Royal had been scanned perhaps he'd still be living today, he suffered heart attack at age 41. That Neil paid for his entire staff to be scanned. Then proceeded to tell us Cox Enterprises now requires all executives to be scanned every year. That this is the Gold Standard recommended by The American Cancer Society and American Heart Association. My wife has 27 years of clinical experience with the most recent 10 in Oncology and knew this was a fabrication. They then wanted us to watch an Oprah video then another from Diane Sawyer. We said no thank you we understand what the benefits are since I'd previously had a heart scan. At this point they asked us to commit to $4,995 contract for scans every other year for 10 years. Explaining this to be an asset of our Estate. We declined and then the lady giving us the presentation left to get the "Clinical Director" Dan. Dan came in and wanted to offer us a discounted price since we both work in healthcare of $2,995 we told him we'd discuss this with our physician and if appropriate we'd consider. The discounted price was only available today, again we declined. At this point it became clear to us they were attempting to prey on our fears and utilize high pressure tactics to close the sale. We said no thank you and would just like our complimentary heart scan. Dan makes a comment just wait in the lobby if we don't kick you to the curb. We returned to the waiting room which now had 3 other people but was empty when we went to hear the presentation. After it was apparent that since we did not commit to their contract we were moved to end of the line. It's now 11:25am and we had made it very clear when we arrived that my wife had a business appointment at 12:00 and would need to leave by 11:30. After my wife left without the scan I began inquiring with the office staff why i was not being taken for my scan. Dan comes out and i explain my dissatisfaction that since we did not sign their contract it was apparent we'd been moved to end of the line. My guess is this is another of their sleazy tactics to make it uncomfortable if you don't sign a contract so you'd leave. I told Dan i'm not putting up with their tactics and i'm leaving at which point he threatens to call the police if i don't leave immediately. It was clear he was frustrated that we saw through their sleazy high pressure sales tactics. Since we never received the promised scan and we listened to the presentation i consider that Life Test Atlanta breached the contract created. |

My Wife and I came to Life Test because of a Commercial on WSB radio to get a Free Heart scan.. When we got there we were a little afraid of what the Presentation would be like...but we were pleasantly surprised by our Counselor Annie, she was very informative and We defiantly saw the Need for Life Scans services!! after having the Heart Scan it was nice to actually get the results almost instantly (the Radiologist still has to read it) but we were able to see how much calcium build uo I had in

i needed peace of mind because i started mountain biking.heart disease runs on both sides of my family.i came close to canceling my appt but i had to have peace of mind.would advise everyone to do this.it was a quick test, 10-15 min tops.i have friends wanting this test now

We heard about the scan listening to Neal Boortz on the radio. He said that the test/scan would help discover medical problems with the heart well before symptoms so we decided to have the scans done. The staff was friendly and informed. We arrived at our appointed time. The scans were to take about 1 1/2, but It took over 2 hours to process us. We have not gotten the results yet.

Staff was very informative, I am glad that my husband and I decided to go. We found out that my husband has heart disease. If it was not for this test we would have never known. We recommend that everyone does this. This will save my husbands life.

I was very pleased. The staff was friendly and accomodating. There was a problem due to a power outage, and I had to return the next day for my scan. It was done quickly and professionally, and I had the results before I left the facility.

Our experience at Life test of Atlanta was excellent. Everyone there was pleasant, very good at explaining the process as they went, and the test itself was fast and easy. We received our results within a few days. They were easy to read and undrestand. We would highly recomment Life Test of Atlanta to anyone!!!

This was a very enjoyable visit as well as informed. Connie, the lady doing the testing, was very personable and made you feel at ease. The Receptionists greeted us with a warm smile and were very hospitable.

The full body scan I had at LifeTest was exceptionally helpful. I learned that I have no reason to be concerned about coronary disease, but did discover that a slight plaque build-up in one artery needs to be monitored. The staff was exceptionally courteous and professional, explaining every aspect of the process and carefully reviewing the results with me. This is a great way to truly have peace of mind about the "state of your body."

Everyone was polite and professional. The visit took much longer than I was told it would, however, and that was quite frustrating. The sales pitch was much longer than necessary - I was already sold. I look forward to out test results.

Everyone was very professional and courteous. Impressive technology. Visit took much longer than expected, in part due to several technical problems with presentation, which doesn't give a great impression when trying to sell a service based on technology. Overall, though, a good experience and I'm glad I went.

Everyone at the facility was very nice. My wife and I particularly liked Annie. For only being employed for three weeks she was very knowledgeable and quick to tell us if she wasn't sure of how to answer a question. Some of the information presented on the computer was, I believe a little misleading. I believe the technology and information gained from the scans to be valuable, but not quite as foolproof as presented. We had a pleasant and informative visit.

Life Test was very pleasant & warm. From Ms. Lovejoy to Dan, all were very supportive & caring. I am not fincanally able at this time to enroll in yearly testing, but think it's a very reasonble plan for taking care of yourself before someone else does. The heart scan was a good warning for me to see my doctor. |

This is the only imaging test in Atlanta that can search for abnormalities at very little radiation with accuracy. My full body scan detected a very small "spot" on my right lung which my doctor is following every 3 months using the Lifetest's imaging. It gives me a peace of mind that I am able to follow this with no problems.
I am very impressed with the technology and the professionalism of the staff. |

| In Oklahoma CIty, OK is a company called Advanced Body Imaging LLC, they operate the same way as mentioned, nearly word for word as the Atlanta place, even more interesting, Advanced Body Imaging owners operated a business called Heart Check America in several other states and were forced to shut down due to illegal acts. If your in Oklahoma, and you get a call, hear or see an ad for a free heart scan, beware, these people intend to rip you off. Larry Trucano, is the front man, the real owners, can't be affiliated with the company in a public manner, pretty messed up. Advanced Body Imaging LLC, 13900 N Portland Ave, OKC, OK. phone numer 405-242-1400. If you were ripped off in Las Vegas by these people then you might be aware of Larry Trucano, he would be directly responsible for ripping folks off in Vegas. |
